Alec

So.....Alec went on a road trip with Dell. They went to Montana and Dell thought they would head back down through SLC but that wasn't the case. They ended up going to PA, GA, NJ back to GA, MT and then home. They had a wonderful time and Alec was gone for almost 2 1/2 weeks. When they were in NJ they took sometime off and spent 2 days in NY. Alec LOVED it!!!! He talks about it all the time and how he wants to go and live there now. ;) They hit a lot of places but still had plenty of more they wanted to see.

Eddie

My little man was diagnosed with NEUROFIBROMATOSIS TYPE 1 yesterday. This is a genetic condition that causes tumors to grow around the nerves. It generally begins in younger children and is commonly associated with learning problems. For those of you who know my little guy he is the most loving, adorable and silly kid!! He does have a speech delay which we have been working on and will continue to work on with the help of the wonderful doctors and therapists. We are blessed today because he does not have any tumors. We will closely monitor him to see is anything changes with him.

Schools out!!!

School is finally out!!! Poor Alec has been in forever!!! He started at a year round school and then changed to a traditional school. So he is very excited. We have already been down to the pool at the apartment to test it out. Alec is so excited that he can swim in 5in...i mean 5ft of water with no help!! Eddie just loves to splash everyone and has no fear of the water. It is going to be a fun summer with the pool.

Parent Teacher Conference.....

Wow!!! I feel so OLD going to parent-teacher conference. As I walked into meet with Alec's teacher...Eddie started running around saying he had to poop!! I wanted to die! I am sitting at her desk with Alec talking things over and as I look over Eddie is walking backwards into me saying "mommy look I pooped" I told him no that was ok and he kept saying "See mommy I pooped" The joys of potty training!!!

I got to hear such wonderful things said about Alec!!! I know what a smart little boy he is but it is so nice to hear how good he is doing!!! I am so proud of that kid! I am just a proud mom bragging!!! ha ha

Oh Eddie finally knows how to say his own name!!! =)

Update on our family!

So I thought I would give an update on our life.......A lot has changed over the past few months!! We sold our home in Oct and have moved to Talyorsville. We are currently in an apartment. I thought it would be awful but it hasnt been to bad. I do miss the comforts of having my own home....like radio FULL BLAST while cleaning the house!! ha ha
Dell has decided to become an over the road Truck Driver...and he is loving it. I cant say that I do! I sure do miss having a spouse around and I know the boys miss his so much. It should only be for a year and then he will find something local. I have gone back to a 9-5 and work for the water company in WVC. I LOVE my job and the people I work with!! And they have insured Eddie which is wonderful!! Since no one else would take him. I also work weekends at a bar that we have been going to for a few years. I am the COOK...LOL I HATE to cook but I love getting out of the house and the money is great!
Alec and Eddie are in daycare and they have adjusted very well to the change. Eddie is in preschool and is doing so good. He is talking a lot more!! He finally said his own name!!! He has developed his own language and is trying to differ between the two. And my Alec what a wonderful young man he is becoming. He is doing so well in school and his reading is great! He had to change schools in the move and has adjusted so well and never complains even though I know all of this must be so hard on him!! Other than that we are just going along with the day to day stuff. Luv u all!!

I have joined the world of blogging!!! Never in a million years did I think I would be a blogger. ha ha But I have enjoyed reading everyone elses blogs. I love to hear what is going on with everyone and their cute families. JUST DONT EVER COUNT ME IN ON SCRAP BOOKING!!!
